Memory Verses

We commit scripture to memory as a Church body. Join us.

2009 memory scripture

Philippians chapter 4

4) Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

5) Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

6) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication

with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,

shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

2008 memory scripture

Romans chapter 12

1) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God

2007 memory scripture

Isaiah chapter 40
31) but They that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

2006 memory scripture

Philippians chapter 4
8) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

9) Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

2005 memory scripture

Matthew chapter 6 verse 33
33) But Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew chapter 7 verse 7
7) Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Matthew chapter 4 verse 4
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth from out of the mouth of God.
